In essence, mindful movement is simply focusing attention on the body while moving; the effects of so doing can be profoundly beneficial and include helping to relax the mind and restore vitality. This class provides a safe, accepting (and often fun!) space to explore your natural movement and develop a helpful awareness of your body. It also offers an enriching, often healing, opportunity to relate to others simply, without words. Gentle facilitation helps you to cultivate curiosity and openness to what the body has to say and the wisdom to be found therein.
Find out more about what happens in a typical class in the short (2.5 minutes) video below - please be aware though, that every session is unique and wonderful in its own way, as we never know what new inspiration our bodies will provide in the moment!

Regular attender David says "This is a wonderful class. I feel more "myself" here than practically anywhere. It's a really safe place to be and explore different ways of being, moving and communicating and I relax so deeply"
Regular attender Diny says "I have balance problems and occasional dizzy spells that affect my confidence in moving and my mood. In this class, though, I feel I can move how I need to move in order to feel better and I always come away thinking that its been exactly what I've needed"
