General description and location of Zest for Life classes
Sit Fit chair-based exercise to music
Various venues in the Gloucestershire area. Enjoy a gentle warm-up (group singing of well-known songs is often included!) followed by exercises and seated dance to a selection of inspiring music, followed by co-ordination, stretching, breathing and relaxation exercises to cool down. Progress at your own pace to more challenging balance exercises and standing dance.

Active Balance
These classes are designed primarily to improve balance by working on co-ordination, stamina, strength and flexibility using a range of medically proven exercises and equipment including hand weights, resistance bands, sponge balls and floor mats. Elements of t'ai chi and Feldenkrais (efficient movement) are also often included to improve balance and movement range. Classes are tailored to suit individual ability and those with ongoing health or medical conditions.

Mindful movement
Monthly on Thursdays, 2-3.30pm, at the Isbourne Education Centre, Wolseley Terrace, Oriel Rd, Cheltenham (near the town hall). Relax and re-energise using easy, natural movement and by engaging the physical senses proven . Suitable for all levels of mobility and fitness. Cost £8 per class (discounted for term bookings). Creative, choreographed and community dance
Enjoy moving creatively as part of a group, explore non-verbal connections with others and learn to trust your own creative impulses using simple, easy movements adapted to your own body. Music, props (such as balls, scarves, hoops, fans and other objects), poetry, art and group ideas and suggestions may be used as inspiration to move individually, with a partner and as a group. No need to be fit, flexible, co-ordinated or to have had any previous dance training or experience - all are welcome! More details available on the Community dance page.
Dance Journey
An opportunity to enjoy moving in your own way to a fabulously diverse and inspiring range of music, with gentle facilitation on offer to provide additional inspiration for exploring your dance.
